I brought him to help me!” On that day the woman's stove was cleaned and started roaring, warming the house again. Quality comes from tradition

The story begins in Bărăganu, one of Dobrogea's villages, in the year 1960's, when Ilie Iancu, an apprentice at that time, leared the secrecy of the craft from nea' Ion Prodan, who has been working up to this day, at his 92 years. In 1963, after he had brought the warm in many homes, Ilie went to Pantelimon village, called to make a stove to nea' Vasile Dinescu. Seeing how he works, nea' Martinescu asked Ilie to make a stove for him too. Then Petrea Mogos, Mircea Mototolea, Radu Strambeanu and many others in their turn called Ilie for his services. And that's how the man came in a village for a stove and left after 5 years … Somewhere in the middle of the '80s, a lady called nea' Iancu “to have a look at her stove”. “I've heard that you know your job. I don't know what's wrong with it, but it doesn't give warmth. A young man made it for me a long time ago. For 15 years I had no problems with it!” And after looking a little bit at it, Ilie Iancu reckognized his work.
